Lost in my own body

i was lost
wondering around in a haze
trying to get though life
one day at a time
sorting my stuff
trying to get free
fuzzy brain
trying to sort though
all my life's problems
blurry eye sight
trying to see in darkness
that claimed my life
and me
tripping over my own feet
trying to walk out of my life
in a blurry haze
to get free
to finally be free
i was lost
