She Has
That girl in the mirror
Has forgotten how to smile
The pain has never been clearer
And she's been like this a while
Most just don't understand
Although they see it too
She hides behind her hand
But this is nothing new
The compliments sting like flame
Why do they always lie?
It makes her feel the shame
And some days she'd rather die
It's nothing she can't fix
But she's put it off so long
She knows all the tricks
Just the same old song
A new day and another chance
She's done with waiting
Leaving behind the old one with no back glance
Goodbye to the girl she's hating
