THE CURSE OF SUBURBIA
It’s so mundane
Drives me insane;
The fence-less yards
With two or three cars
Per each house just like those
That seem so close
Yet far apart.
Now don’t you feel smart
To live so alike
Where a neighborhood bike
Can get you anywhere!
And though outsiders may stare
Think we’re so mundane
That we must be insane.
