Broken Heart
Hello my lovely heart,
For I know you are not okay,
I am aware of the broken pieces,
On the floor I saw today.
It was after math class,
"We have to talk", he said.
That was when you came out of my body,
I really thought I was dead.
He tells me me it is over,
That he does not love me at all.
He says he has found someone else,
much prettier, smarter, and all.
I was staring in astonishment,
On the floor, at my heart.
It was broken into a million pieces,
My heart had fallen apart.
The organ was still beating,
Pulsating with my every blink.
Everyone gathers around.
I do not know what to think.
He, of course, doesn't notice,
For he is with his new girl.
I see them exchanging saliva,
It makes me want to hurl.
Well, my lovely heart...
What do you want me to say?
This boy broke you into pieces.
and I HOPE you will be okay.
