Faded shadows hide fears stored of a small boy
But black and white is all that I see
Day in and day out the routine dulls my mind
As I search for an escape within myself
My escape seems useless as it did the day I first longed for it
But giving up has become a pleasure all too familiar
A bitter sweet desire for the pastel colors seen long ago
But black and white is all that I see
