Giggles, secrets, rumors
Surround the crowded hallways.
Walking right on by
Not being affected by any of this nonsense
She smiles, forever and always.

Being an individual
A private human being,
She walks on by being independent and strong.
She led the way in order
To make the freeing

Of her soul possible.
With her chin above
All the others,
She walks right on by
Holding her self tight with love.

Ending the path of her direction
She takes a deep breath and listens.
“I am who I am,” she says to herself
Without any hesitation.
Her smiles shines and glistens

Because she knows she will always be true to herself.
