I see you in the ocean,
I hear you in their crash,
I feel you in the water,
I smell you in the air,

I see you in Christmas,
I hear you in the carols,
I feel you in the snow,
I smell you in the cookies,

I see you in literature,
I hear you in the words,
I feel you in the pages,
I smell you in the ink,

I see you everywhere,
I hear you there,
I feel you here,
I smell you all the time,

Yet you're nowhere in my reach,
but always close to heart.
