I've seen pictures of rotting rainbows
Rotting off of us and our scrounging skins
All because we ate combusted cotton
And Haven's late again
I started without her
Summer symptoms provide:
Angst, love, fun, and capillary trees!
And in the volcanic sky I can see broken leaves
And yes, there is a silver lining

The last line is my favorite:

You had excellent diction throughout the whole piece and I love the clear descriptions in each line. Good job! :)
