Song of a teenaged parrot
A teenaged parrot
repeating what I'm told
Inherited ideas
none of my own
In a world of uncertainty
I'm questioning everything
forgetting the answers
asking them anew
no one told me
maybe no one knew
that only trouble brews
when the words you spit out
aren't brand new

Thanks:)
I got the idea from something I read on the internet a while ago... I was kind of offended by the concept at first, but for me, it's just the truth sometimes... But anyway, thanks!

p.s. the poems about identity, and kindof being your own person.
