A pallid corpse
Of chiseled stone,
Of humanity unleashed
From the confines of life
Pictures of you,
Smiling,
Serious,
Cover the walls
Tears trickle down
Every face,
Spilling onto
The bright red carpet
Outside,
The sky weeps with us
Venting its sadness
On the cold, hard walls
You are,
And are not
So how can it be,
That I still love you?

So I know she forgives me, just as I forgive her. Thomas Edison's last words were: "It's very beautiful over there." I don't know where there is, but I believe it's somewhere, and I hope it's beautiful.<br /> --John Green, Looking for Alaska
