Waiting for you
is like sitting on a stool
that has a cushion
with pointy needles poking out of it.
Waiting for you
is swimming to the bottom of the pool,
having the pressure hurt my ear drums
and trying hard to prevent resurfacing.
Waiting for you
is like grabbing a slice of rich chocolate cake,
smelling its sweet aroma
and then remembering that I'm on a diet.
Waiting for you
sucks.

This is really good. It's very melodic and you think it's gonna be all sweet in the end when you introduce the chocolate cake, but then you're like, "It sucks" and I hadda giggle :) I know what you mean, but I really love this poem <3
