Confused
In school from what I see of you
So beautiful, so smart, so kind
The above are so true
But if I truly like you I don't have a clue
It could just be my fragile heart playing games with my mind
Just gravitating to someone who treats it so kind
Or you can truly be the one heaven sent for me
To spend the rest of my life with in perfect harmony
How can I truly know that you feel the same way
That your heart tingles like mine while we speak each day
I really wish I knew if you only see me as a friend
Or someone you can spend your life with to the end
We seem to be getting along just fine
Always laughing and talking, staring at each other all the time
But I'm so confused about what I'm feeling and the signals you are sending
You're on my mind from morning to when I'm dreaming
I can't figure out what you want, are you serious or just teasing
Now your getting dangerously close to my heart
And I don't know your intentions
A friend or more?
This questions is the source of my frustrations
I Must keep you from creeping into my heart
Until I find out if you want to be a part.
Cause if I let you in and thats not where you intended to be
Getting you back out would be painful and life threatening to me
