Heading in a different direction
Feels like a blindfold covers my eyes
Not knowing where I’m going
My heartbeat dies

Taking new chances
Trying to advance
Rising from beneath to new heights
Having difficulty from escaping the trance

A new transition is what I need
The time is now in order to thrive
Trying to overcome my burdens
Self-motivation is the current ride

Stepping through the door
That leads me to my destiny
Discovering opportunities
To bring out the best in me

Becoming a different person
Disposing my flaws and imperfections
Leaving the past behind
Finding my innovative connections

Eventually I became
The person I’ve always dreamed of
Shedding my old skeleton
That used to fit like a glove
