Live as if you'll die tomorrow, dream as if you'll live forever. -James Dean

This world sucks
And it seems to be all my fault
No matter what I do
I always seem to screw things up
And I never seem to have enough tape to fix it
The band-aids fall of
The glue dries up
And I have no thread for stitches
I get blamed for everything
The tear in the relationship
The stain on my life
The scratch on my family's reputation
I don't belong here
I'm a bull in a china shop
A bird in a house of cards
A skater on thin ice
I'm only going to get hurt
Or in trouble
I should just give up
And walk away from it all
No one will notice
I don't feel like one in a million
I'm one of a million
Unnoticeable
The average person
The average face
In an average world
Of fakes and liars, haters and cheats

A world of people
So many people
But I still feel alone
So alone
Lost, cold, hungry for love and comfort
From someone who really cares
About who I am
And not what my grades are
Or what my religion is
Or what I look like
What my body looks like
Or who my friends are
But who I am as a person
A human being
Who lives, breathes, and has a mind of their own
Who doesn't listen to all the criticisms and judgments
That this world shoves into the eyes and ears of this young generation
To make them just like they are
Fakes and liars, haters and cheats

I love it. It's just that it reminds me of me sometimes... :'(
