I am a human
But I am a virus
I see
The destruction all around me
I feel the breeze
Or is that what my brain tells me?
I know all they teach
To God I know nothing
I dream of life
A life I’ll never have
I say something poetic
But it comes out a jumble
I need air
Even as I lay dead
I want to know
Why exactly I’m here
I hear your heart
Beating like a drum
You are human
But you are a machine.
