Wind whistling through the trees,
Carrying sounds of a past untold,
The rustle of silk,
As a princess prepares for a masque,
The hush of a mother to her baby,
In the middle of a stormy night.
Your whisper of a good-bye,
When you left me forever
In the shadows of the trees
That forever whisper your name.
