What the front door.

He's nervous,
he has second thoughts.
The doctor says he has
nothing to worry about.
Which means he has
everything to worry about.
He starts trembling and shaking,
Which is the last thing they need
Because blood doesn't clean easily.
The doctor says,
“The drugs should kick in soon,”
Which means the drugs
will never kick in.
He starts thinking
about all the bad he's done.
He feels guilty, really guilty.
He starts to pray, but he's too nervous to finish.

The drugs still haven't kicked in yet,

But fear has,
and now he's petrified.
He wants his mommy.
His wife asked
if she could sit with him.
His boys asked also,
but he refused.
He really wants his mommy.
The doctor grabs his tool and starts working.
Now he's terrified.
He starts squirming.

The drugs still haven't kicked in yet.

“Narrator, do something,” he says.
So I say, “Doctor, Please,
I don't think that arm goes in there.”

Bahahahaha.

How very ironically eloquent.

(I dunno, that sentence really made me laugh anyway.)

You said something in your bio that "everyone wants to know if I'm a girl or a guy". You just totally gave yourself away...

Not really, French is so pretty. Even if I can't really read or understand it.

And anyway, it's easy as pie to just look up a translator on Google.

Love you too <3

Being a writer is being like God. You can create an entire universe and personalities and everything and contol everything. Don't you kinda love it? =)

I like that. Very unique. The story captures you and you forget the name of the poem until you read "Narrator do something" so you check the title again and reread the end, then reread the entire thing, and youre like "oh. I liked that!" and it makes sense. Coolio

I must admit I was left intrigued, and happy.  This is a poem I read through all the while thinking that it had its own ring to it, I loved it. Check me out your writing is fabulous :D

Idk, it's like a bent-up power that you could unleash in your words, but you choose not to, but let the implication that you COULD unleash it do the talking, so that it is much more than if you had unleashed it....it makes it much more exciting to read, and much more unique....
