Pain Isn't Real

Pain is just a state of mind,
I cannot feel like I am really dying,
But why am I so sad all of the time?
Will the sun ever shine?
I am not smart enough,
And I do not always get the best of grades,
I will never be brave enough,
I could never face a dragon,
I could not be,
The girl my mother always wanted me to be,
And breaking up,
Is something we both know will happen,
Pain is just a state of mind,
But for some reason,
It still makes me cry.
