A childs voice, however honest and true, is meaningless to those who have forgotten how to listen.

Unstable Home
Disfunctional Family
Parents gone all the time

We're all called "brats"
We're all the same
We live the life of the Military Child

We move around
About every three years
Ripped from roots again

No stable home
No permanent friends
We live the life of the Military Child

Be it Army, Airforce, Navy or Marines
We're all "brats" and all the same
We life the life...

Of a Military Child

The author's comments:
I've been an Army "brat" since i was less than four years old. It does take a toll on the child and family to live this life no matter what anyone else says.
