"bad blood is more satisfying to spill across the floor..."

One bite and I’m gone
Eager teeth sink slowly
Like hikers in quick sand
With every second
The become more engulfed
Until they are beyond help

One bite and I’m gone
Beyond knee deep in this
Licking flavor-encrusted lips
As I viciously tear at wrappers
That refuses to open in time
And scratch at the content
Like a starving lioness at prey

One bite and I’m gone
The sweet taste possesses my mind
I am an addicted junkie
Wanting nothing more
Thank the irreplaceable sensation
There is no rehab for me
I’m already gone

Well I admit the title to the piece and the actually piece made me laugh. I love it. Great work. "The sweet taste possesses my mind" is my favorite line

This has got to be one of the most interesting metaphors I have ever seen.... assuming I interpreted your poem correctly haha! Either way, I love it. It's really really cool.

I really like this I thought it was really descriptive and you took such a simple thing and wrote about it perfectly. Great job take a look at some of my other work!!!

I like this, not because I like peanut butter, but because it can be a metaphor for something a lot deeper.  Good work!

Haha, I'm allergic to peanuts, so I now know what I'm missing out on. ;)

Entertaining, really created a picture in my mind, haha. Good. :)

I found this kinda funny. The way you turned something so simple into something so poetic. I happen to adore peanut butter! Great job!
