Push Me!
The swings.
Set in the exact
Middle of the
Playground.
The reccess bell rings.
I take off,
Out the door.
To the playground.
I get there first.
Everytime.
I get my favorite swing.
The blue one.
The blue one with
The rusting handles
That could snap
At any moment.
I jump on the swing,
and pump my legs.
Out, in.
Out, in.
I repeat.
I can never get higher
than a few feet.
My legs are tired.
I say to myself.
Push me!
Someone.
Please.
Push me.
