What the front door.

My inspiration has given up
My motivation met me half way
When my ambitions lost the fight
My encouragement just went away
It’s easy to get my engine started
But it won’t start up all the way
A few more tries is all it will take
And one more try is all it takes
All my dreams sit wide awake
Troubled by emotions they can’t name
And when my reasons saw the ordeal
They didn’t have very much to say
The closest I ever come to sleep at night
Is crying over it during the day
So I stole sleep and wasted dreams
In the end my dreams put sleep to waste
Every time I retrace my steps
It’s success that always seems to fade
I told victory of my tragic defeat
And when she heard this she ran away
I pleaded to my aspirations
But I couldn’t get them to stay
I tempted them with visions of triumph
But my triumph saw no reason to stay.
I’m speechless after it all
So I just listen to my disgrace
But even he had given up
For even he couldn’t go all the way.

You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have truly lived are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love.
Henry Drummond

Sometimes I feel like this, like all my inspiration has faded away.I can't believe someone was able to turn that emotion into a poem. True genius.

If it's a natural assumption, then there's gotta be some truth in it.

Yes, but these posts would also not be so confusing to people reading them if we understood what we were talking about.  Some people may know, and others may not, but if we knew, then there'd be nothign here for people to speculate about, would there?

not that i want you to be confused, but it helps. these posts wouldnt be so long if we knew what each other were talking about.

Ahaha, alright, I'll try to remember next time he's on...though he's not as random as you are, and he'll probably think it weird.  But I'm sure he'll like the attention.  And do you mean you WANT me to be confused, and it throws you off that I'm not?

Haha, well also ironically, you remind me of another one of my friends who is completely random, and whenever we chat on Facebook, he expects me to be as random as he is, and I am, but that doesn't make me random.  I can BE random, though I'm a literal person.  And I didn't really count the posts, I was estimating how many I'd seen in my Yahoo! inbox.

ironically, when you talk random to someone the last thing you expect them to do is say something completely random to what you said, and i cant believe you actually counted the posts.

Well, how bout this?  I was being random not only because I can be a random person, but because you were being random, as well, and I just went with the flow of the conversation (if you would call it that).  However, if we did, in fact, have a real conversation, I'm sure you would find me to be quite dull and boring and wouldn't want to spend time filling out 13 Teen Ink responses just to reply to my mindless jabbering.

(we could have real talk and answer your question) its actually the randomness in some of your responses. on several occasions i've said or asked something and then you responded and by your response it was clear that we lost each other.so depending on your definition of real talk, i'm not sure how it would turn out....
