I am the eye,
That you dare not meet.
I am the plea,
That you dare not hear.
I am the girl,
To whom you dare not speak.
From where stems your fear,
Oh lost and accepted?
Is it the difference in me?
Or the words that you hear?
Don’t worry your mind,
Don’t fret for my heart.
It’s gone, or hardened,
At least not quite there.
