The Strings of My Life
The strings on a cello are A,D,G, and C.
A-Joyful and play minor beautifully.
D-A bit hard to hear making people listen carefully.
G-Rich, deep, romantic, full-bodied sound.
C-Lowest, it sometimes rattles but the effect is so perfect. When played open, and is perfectly in tune it’s THE most beautiful note.
D-I started life out, no cares, troubles, worries
Uncertain, but exploring was not out of the question
A-On a mountain, feeling overwhelmed
Epiphany, breaking through the clouds
G-Found myself, romance is never-ending
Vibrato, warmth, and pulse fill the whole
C-Unable to connect moving through minors and majors at a snails pace
I thought it was over, I could not keep hold
A-Until I backtracked into a thought of inclusion
D-I knew, I knew, it was that, that I craved
The similar wants and skill around me
C-Struggling to earn so much as to admit me in
Support envelops me and I am one too lucky
G-Nothing will serve as an obstacle, for I have come too far
The fleeting romance in the air cannot penetrate the high of acceptance
A-I have come into my own!
It is all I have dreamt it to possess
Now life is as it was meant to be,
LIVED
