Masks
In the fear of deception
And the anguish of loss
One cannot help but to bind themselves to the mess we call chaos
In the unfamiliarity of all we see
We hide our faces with a mask that covers us
Like a building does to a tree
It hides the cringes we express when we feel pain
It catches the tears we shed during the rain
But when the heavy rain falls the masks are washed away
And one feels the sting of each drop hitting the windowpane
But because of that they feel the happiness every soul deserves to gain
The masks are removed, although not by the storm but rather by the sunshine that remains
The sunshine is love and it is known to be sunshine removes the masks between all the unseen.
