Forever and Slashed
Silent whispers; and in thy name,
unbreathed glory, emotion but tame.
A silent life, a life lived dead,
hateful regret by words unsaid.
Forward, backward, hard and slice
Frigid screams, bodies of ice.
What pointless visits by angels come,
Young Satan stole a girl, and numb.
Oh heavy darkness, oh pain surreal,
Oh slashed veins forever can’t heal.
Through hope spoken, and unheard
Love though never, still preferred.
Faces; how innocent and passing by,
Forlorn child and her sobs, deny.
How hopeless, and in its name,
All but a thing one child to blame.
The eternal gift; tonight final breath,
Swallow young tears, forever in death.
