Strange Love
Lead me back
To that place we once knew.
Where Tears fell
From your soft eyes
For my white lies.
My soft compromise,
I only wanted to be,
What you wanted
But i failed,
So i covered up.
Like you did
Last winter.
Take me back
To the heart i never broke,
From the life i never fell.
It snuck up so quick,
I never fought back.
It was never about me,
I want it for you,
I'd burn it all
All for you.
It's a strange kind of love,
I want to paint a perfect picture
Of nothing at all, but give more.
I can't control this burn,
All-believing
That this is the end,
And if i can't get it right,
It already was death for me
