My Monster
Trembling in my heart
Staring into eyes deep red as the Blood that flows within me
Not knowing but wondering, confused
Is this love?
He stalks the sidewalks
Dark dead as night is
Searching for false beauty in the alleyways between Lady’s Lust
Rounding the corner thinking of The last human
“What an awful night to be cursed”
Mortal eyes search for truth
In everything that I couldn’t find in the trap of youth
Daughter of unhappiness, son of unluckiness
Get thee to me: my heart anticipates, beating faster & faster
I look upon you, God’s greatest disaster
In the forsaken valley of the lost
Where lives are vanished and creatures have fought
This is our special place, out here were angels never venture
Locked lips align with world-weary hips
You whisper in my ears and lovingly say,
”Follow me, you are safe child, you are safe”
You are my monster from legends of long ago: real and unfaltering
Though you may be a danger, I care not
Your deep scars cry out to me like a mortal in pain, and I shall heal them with passion never seen through the eyes of Man!
