His Poison
When our lips met the first time
I could taste his poison on my lips
I grinned as I decided to wait
Wait to give him mine
I waited for too long
And now his poison is taking control
When I stop thinking about him
I become numb minutes later
His poison is taking over me
Its killing my feelings
And numbing my mind
At night the poison comes in
And turns my dream…
To a nightmare
The night drags on
I wonder when the poison
Will die away
His poison, like him, is gone
But the numbness is here to..
Stay
