Conquer
She’s blissfully unaware of all of life’s hardships,
Because her life has been so easy,
He’s scarred and torn because he’s been through hell and back,
And hates to let it show,
She’s insecure and vulnerable,
But puts up her best façade,
He’s callused and worn,
And can walk through life with his head held high,
She sees him as wonderfully as he is,
And believes in him every day,
He makes her feel beautiful,
And loves her more than she’d ever thought possible,
Through balance they prosper,
Through strength and weakness,
Support and love,
And,
In the end,
They conquer all
