my heart cries out for you.
the sharp ice
in your words
tell a different story
her brightness overwhelms me
ghosts walk in daylight
unnoticed.
can they not see me?
my reflection is tangible,
china bones and paper skin.
touch me.
inbred with a sense of dignity
and restraint
are we even human?
