"And since I am dead I can take off my head, to recite, Shakespeare in quotations. No animal, nor man, can SCEAM like I can, with the fury of my reciatation."

She walks in the house alone and upset.
Candles light the houses' interior.
The fight still vivid in her mind and thoughts.
Rose petals caress the funishings.
Tears fall gentally from her eyes, sarrow darkening her soal.

She walks slowly to the coat closet and hangs her shawl on a hanger.
Feeling more numb than pain.
She opens the bottle of wine that sat in a bucket of ice on the dining table,
falling into the glass perfectly.
The wine smoothly flows across her tounge and down her parched throat.

Tonights events came rushing into play, him purposing, she turning him down,
she didn't feel ready, and he became mad and hurt, yelled a little, then left her there by herself.
She didn't mean to offend him or hurt him, she loved him with all her heart,
time was just not willing her to exept.
Not right then.

She slumps to the bedroom, rose petals lay scatter on it.
Her sobs become hard, shaking her, not allowing her air.
She falls to the floor, head in hands and cries.
Barely able, she pulls herself to the bed and lays apon its.
The soft petals cut her back like knives.

" Why? Why did I say no?!" she sobs to herself.

She cries herself to sleep that night.
For the days that followed, she did not move, eat or live.
Simply shutting down all togther.
She lay there, numb, alone and crying.
Thats all that occured, untilthe night death came to her and wrapped its' cold arms around her,
dragging her from her sarrowful world.

The next day a neighbor found the girl's body and called 911.
A picture of the girl was aired in the news, descovered by her parents who called and named their daughter.
Her obituary was placed in the papers' collum.

A few days later, her lover picked up the news paper and read about her death.
He broke down and cried.
Blaming himself for her death, he visited her grave later that day,
placing a single white rose apon it.
His tears fell like rain onto her fresh grave.
He longed to take back the past, to undo what had been done,
for he still was crazy with love for her.

As he drove home,
his mind shut itself down and tears blinded his vision.
The car swerved off the road into a frozen lake,
killing him instantly.

He met her at the gates of heaven,
she instantly forgave him for being angry.
Through heaven's gates,
they walked hand- in- hand,
forever together.
