A goodbye that never happened
The next hello that will never be

Overrun by grief
The looks of the broken
A tragedy times two
A sad fate
A cruel destiny

Time is a force that you can not stop
Death is not somehthing you can control
A chill that seems to linger and burn
All the tears that never stop

So here lies the cries of the hurt:

"Too fast..."
"Too early..."
"Too gone..."

This poem was written after two boys in my class were killed in a car wreck, The grief in my classes was horrible, painful.
