The Day in the Life of Shoes
I never fit anyone elses' feet.
Everyday i travel about and other shoes do i meet.
Gum is cruelly stuck to my behind.
At home is the only time i can unwind.
Dir, mud, and grass are things i like to drag along.
While traveling at full speed, i feel i have done my job, gotten you where they wanted to go.
Without me, who knows?
Then late at night, they pay me back, and shove me in the cornered stack.
