"Can you see the moon? You can't, then you must look behind you, then to the side and everywhere else until you do see it!"

If I was to cry, would you hear?
If I was to shout, would you hear?
If I was to whisper, would you hear?
If I was to talk, would you hear?
No.

If I was to kill, would you act?
If I was to hurt, would you act?
If I was to change, would you act?
If I was to listen, would you act?
Yes.

Would you change, if I shouted?
Would you change, if I cried?
Would you change, if I paid?
Would you change, if I died?
No.

So I will fight, for what I want!
So I will fight, for what is right!
So I will fight, for what is good!
So I will fight, for what is life!
Yes

I will change, and so will you!
You will change, and so will they!
They will change, and so will others!
Others will change, but will they all?
Yes.

The world is ours!
The world is all!
The world is finite!
The world is small!
Yes.

We live, so we die
We walk, so we stand
We talk, so we listen
We think, so we learn
Yes!

Life is universal,
Different in ways,
Explored by all,
Finished. By. None.
Yes.

I have always wanted the UK to become a republic and this poem helps me reflect this want.
