I Find Myself In You
Written verse by verse
Are the stories of
People, unfolding
Themselves to whom
Would listen and
Attempt to understand;
Yearning and vying
For someone with
Open ears and closed eyes
Calm hands and concerned brows
There’s one for each
Of us, and they’re also searching
And contemplating our
Existence.
Life may seem to
Drone on, not yielding
To the revelation of
This soulmate, also deprived;
Persistence must never
Vanish – it correlates with
A subsisting Hope.
Love reigns;
It acts as a fuel;
It acts as the force
Between magnets,
Drawing together people
Predestined to find
Their own selves represented
In other entities.
