fOR wHAT?

Doing everything that I know in my heart are horrible to do
For what?
Having the memory of knowing when to say no become vague
For what?
Unwittingly consigning to oblivion how to be a young lady
But FOR WHAT?
Trying to fit in with who and what you call the in crowd
For what?
Worst of all, stumbling over the future I'm headed toward and the future thats for me.
For LOVE.
But for what?
Can you display the same affection my family has for me?
Can you love me as if I'm yours?
In other words, FOR the feeling of void.
