I refuse to recognize,
This disturbance,
This bewilderment in my eyes,
For the tear that left,
Devoted to your virtue,
Was the last I cried for you,

I put it to my lips,
Soft and silken,
Yet distinguished,
With bitter taste,
For sorrow it rained.

Dark and dim,
You have left me,
On sunken wings,
Though I can’t soar well,
Above you I shall.
