“Mwahahahahaha! Now you are mine, Lesley-Bird, finally, at last, in my... oh, drat, forgot it had wings...”

-Phil, the youngest Kalins Uzin

I walk alone on a path of secrets
I walk alone on a path of lies
I walk alone forever and always
And I can see all that dies.
I walk with you along a path of friendship
I walk with you on a path of truths
I walk with you forever and always
Forever evading the nosey sleuths
I walk with no one on this day
My friends are dead and gone away
I walk alone, eternally afraid
That no one will come to my aid.
I weep along this path of sorrow
I watch the Nightwood as it dies
I sleep from the dawn to the morrow
Watching the orphan boy as he cries
So walk with me on this path of horror
Walk with me until the end of all days
Walk with me this one day, my neighbor
And I will accompany you forever and always.

If I ever published a book of poetry, this would be on the front cover.
