Twelve AM
our friction starts from sound and moves to my mind
intoxicating senses heightening and polarizing
the pages of musty winters ripped from my mind
spilling across the floor like a forgotten shiver
now green
new night green
dream in a moment
summers heavy heat is slow and filled with love
speed is measured in knots now
I can taste the sea
bitter and salt dried
it coats my mouth and I want more
planted in the dim light
I am growing in shoots and tangles
rhythms tattoo burning lightly on my skin
