The days drip by,
Coming slowly now
Nothing changes, no time passes
And yet I feel pain
The wind whispers to me
It sings to me
You used to, too, sing to me
And now I cry
The days drip by
Coming faster now
The seasons, they change
And yet I see nothing
I look at the couple
Just married, now
They are so sweet
And now I remember
The days speed by
So normal now
Life changes, time passes
And finally I know
Life, it goes on
Pain, it fades
But darling, yes, darling
I wish you were here
