Reflection
Sun shining down on a crystal lake
Thinking to myself about my biggest mistake
The willows cast a shadow on my memory
How I wish that my mind would just let me be
For I’ve tried to move on, but nonetheless
My mind constantly fills with regret
Look deep into the water, my reflection shining bright
While inside of my heart a part of me has just died
And I wonder, sometimes, was this pain meant to be?
Is this all part of someone’s sick fantasy?
Or maybe this fate’s just my destiny
Alone in the world, no one left but me
