Fool.
I pull my world around me,
The things that are spread about my room
Dragging my books across the floor, tearing up
The notes that I once read every night
Before laying my head down
And falling into the unconscious
I spread out the photographs and lay my eyes
Upon the people that once hurt me.
And swallow the spite, the disgust.
I pull the duvet up to my chin
And chew on the corner you wiped your tears on
Wiping my tongue against your lies.
I breathe in your scent and choke on the
Bitterness.
And smile at the aftermath
Of my hate.
