Although I'm at the river bank
i hear the water rushing and flowing
down the steam
its quiet
although I'm in a crowd
of people, yelling, pushing
in the halls
its quiet
although its night time
and people are fighting
at home, to each other
it's quiet
although i hear your voice
and you're talking to me
i ask myself "why would i listen if i know
you're going to hurt again?!"
still its quiet
quiet with you
