The sun has dipped in through the magenta horizon, slowly setting off the light of hope,
but my love for you is eternal, ever-growing, and immortal.
The sight, that was the aqua blue sky, has been dipped and blanched into darkness,
but my heart will repeatedly beat, thump thump, essence of its love.
The clock is continuously clicking, ticking impatiently,
but I will never demand, or stab a burden on you to carry, for what I desire.
Dreams are waiting to dwell upon their owner's mind,
but I won't let them drowse me into deep sleep,
because I know what awaits me tomorrow
The shining sun has risen out of my sleep waking me into reality,
time has flown by to a new morning for us to embark on a journey called love.

Poetry spills from the cracks of broken heart, but flows from the one which is loved.

I'll have to say this- this is one of the best poems on TeenInk!
