I choose to be blind
Choose not to smell
Refuse to taste
I can't feel anything
My emotions hide
Can't you all see
This is what I choose
To feel numb
Caught in blank
This is my choice.

i like this poem. it's simple, it's truthful. and for too long, i've tried to remain numb at once. but there comes a day when you realize that a life without feeling, is a life not worthy of living. great ideas:)

i recently joined the site and most of my work hasn't been accepted. only 2 of them have. and i'd love for you to view them and tell me what you think..then when the others get accepted you could see if you like those ones too:)
