Fields of Rosemary
I gaze across swaying fields of rosemary,
Moving softly over fields of bitter coffee earth
Lying softly between ivory clouds,
That I forever get lost in,
It’s my home,
Pastures in the sky,
Of which I dream and wish for,
Like the jade-emerald grass of the golf course,
Where we talked for hours,
I feel the warm spring breeze,
That seems to swim through my body,
Or at least that’s the only explanation I have,
For the lightness in my chest,
Or like the cool mud of the duck pond,
Mixing with the weeds,
Like the water flowing under the bridge,
As you kissed my wrist
I gaze across swaying fields of rosemary,
Moving softly over fields of bitter coffee earth
Lying softly between ivory clouds,
That I forever get lost in,
All sleeping softly in her eyes
