Thankful
Invisible to their eyes
Unless it's yelling, no surprise
Close the door, walk away
Two states far my life's at play
Praying and hoping
There's no time for moping
Put on a smile, hold back the tears
Holding up for less than two more years
The tension I feel as I open the door
Makes me realize I simply can't take anymore
My mind is set, I now must stand
I have you now, we'll make it, hand in hand.
