Falling behind, I won't ever be able to find, the joy once there behind those lifeless eyes. Falling behind, I stand aside, from life, from living, I stand in lies. Falling behind, I drown in lost hope, giving in so fast, so quickly, I won't be able to grab onto the rope. Falling behind, I grab my chest, looking around, thinking what had got me into this mess. Falling behind, I am lost inside, hold on, don't let go, too late, its time to go.
