First MAG
I am Eve
because weren't we all, once?
I walk, carrying the rib of another
as my own and it is
comforting
to know
that I am a second-hand creation.
Being the original would mean a
closeness to He-Who-Rests-On-The-Seventh-Day
This, cannot be abided.
I have no care to seek
those who would lock me in a
garden with snakes in the apple trees.

Hey LionsInHerHair,
I really like this poem, but I wanted to make sure that you didn't get the idea from a poem of mine which is also called First and also Adam and Eve themed. It could be complete coincidence, but I just wanted to make sure. I know also that sometimes I use other writers' ideas without meaning to. You can check out my poem under My Work.
Thanks,
Grania
